hello,
its the new 2011 alox soldier, not more and not less. in the history of the alox soldier there where changes on the design of the scales many times done and this is the case this time too. logo etc do change and the only true spec that makes it the alox soldier is the tools in that sak, they did never change, only got over the years manufactured in an finer to detail attention. since i collect swiss military issued sak, spl the alox ones, i can tell you what any other serious collector can, its like i described here. so for 2011, there is an change to the new alox scales and swissbianco is currently the only source for this special swiss army knife. soon more colors will follow. many people also like the smoother feel of the soldier instead of the pioneer, with the poking split ring.
